About Mrs. McNeil:

Mrs. McNeil is the band director at East Rowan High School.  She moved to Salisbury, NC in February 2009 when she started with East Rowan.  She enjoys directing the East Rowan High School Marching Band (Mustang Regiment), Jazz Band (Mustang Jazz Band), and Wind Ensemble.  She also plays piccolo with the Piedmont Wind Symphony and plays with the ensemble Flutes on Fourth in Winston-Salem.  Mrs. McNeil graduated from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, ID in 1999.  She graduated with a Bachelor's of Music Degree in Instrumental Music Performance: Flute, and Instrumental Music Education (K-12) in 2004 from the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID.  Mrs. McNeil earned a Master's Degree in Flute Performance in 2008 from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.  She has also worked for the UNC-Greensboro Summer Music Camp since 2006 as a flute teacher.  Mrs. McNeil taught flute ensemble at Greensboro College, worked as a Residence Hall Director, and an assistant Marching Band Director from 2004-2006.  Go Bengals!
